Main Barn to Old Laundry Wall
Demolition of the existing wall between the Main Barn and the Old Laundry. This will allow for the new staircase to have a straight run.
Existing Flooring
The floors from all areas are to be removed down to the compacted earth underneath. These will be replaced with an insualted polished concrete slab with underfloor heating.
Main Barn First Floor Flooring
The Main Barn first floor flooring will get trimed as to not extend past the end of the staircase.
Existing Staircase
The current space-saver staircase will be removed and replaced with a larger straight run staircase with a single landing.
Main Barn External Walls
All the Main Barn external wall will be lined with an insulated metal stud finished with two layers of plasterboard.
